This year's festival is ongoing until Saturday and the first day features, among others, Opeth and King Diamond.
Most of the headliners at this year's festival are veterans in the industry. Later in the week, bands like Sex Pistols, Scorpions and Sabaton are highlights.
Among the bookings are also Korn and Slipknot, who were quite ridiculed by metal purists during their heyday 20 years ago.
10-15 years ago, it would not have been as obvious, but it feels fun that we "rejuvenate" ourselves, even though those bands broke through in the late 90s, early 00s, said the festival's marketing manager Hannes Emeus to TT earlier in the week.
