We should have been in more finals, but it feels like we've had a bit of a pole-sitter, so it was a great fight from everyone, says Robin Hanson.
For Ludvig Bartolek, the youngest in the European Championship squad at 17 years old, it will be his debut in a long-course championship final.
"I'm just going to go in and enjoy the moment," he says.
Hanson (49.50), Bartolek (48.45), Sara Junevik (54.04) and Sofia Åstedt (53.59) swam in the Swedish team that recorded a final time of 3.25.58 - just over two seconds outside the Swedish record.
Sweden is competing in all team events at the European Championships, but until Friday there had been withdrawals in the heats for everyone.
The Czech Republic was fastest in the heats with 3.23.41.
The final will be decided on Friday evening.
