"There may be situations where planned music is replaced, this is handled editorially. We see it as important to also be able to offer content that provides companionship and security on a day like this", says Swedish Radio's press chief Claes Bertilsson in a written comment to TT.

Channel P1 will interrupt its regular schedule for major news updates and important press conferences, while local P4 is an important channel for residents in Örebro and offers listeners the opportunity to call in and share their thoughts.

Even P3 is affected by the incident and changes its planning to capture the concerns of many young listeners.

"Earlier today, 'Morning Pass in P3' had a conversation with the archbishop about grief processing", says Claes Bertilsson.
