The Government has made a decision to give the Defence Forces the task of supporting Denmark after the latest drone violations.
Concretely, it is about a unit contribution with anti-drone capability, so-called Counter UAS, which will be deployed during this week's top meetings in Copenhagen, writes Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (The Moderate Party) on X.
The unit will be led by the Danish defence force and contribute to their support for the Danish police effort in connection with this week's top meetings.
According to Kristersson, Sweden will also lend a handful of powerful radar systems to Denmark for a period. The radar systems were sent as early as Sunday.
