Barely a year after the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) issued emergency information to Sweden's inhabitants in the brochure "If crisis or war comes" it is time for a counterpart aimed at the business community.

The Government has decided to assign MSB the task of developing a folder aimed at companies in Sweden with basic instructions in the event of a crisis or war.

Business is integrated into almost every social process and socially important activity in one way or another. Therefore, it is also important that we provide information directly to companies on how to think about their own continuity planning, says Carl-Oskar Bohlin (The Moderate Party), Minister for Civil Defence.

It can, for example, be questions about how to handle personnel supply during a crisis or war and how to handle disruptions in the surrounding world when it comes to products or services that one is dependent on.

It's more about a guide for help to self-help, says Carl-Oskar Bohlin.

The work on the brochure is expected to be completed by the turn of the year.
