Denmark has accepted a Swedish offer of help with anti-drone systems, after drones have been spotted at several airports in the country.

We have seen extensive drone activities in different countries in recent days. Very unwelcome drones, says Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to TV4.

Kristersson refers to the EU summit in Copenhagen on Wednesday and that the Swedish military anti-drone capability aims to help ensure that the meeting can be held. He gives no details about how many systems it involves, but says to TV4 that it is about the ability to "shoot down drones you do not want on site".

”Denmark has of course accepted this. The Swedish offer follows the meeting between Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen and his Nordic colleagues last night and is a strong signal of the great international support for Denmark”, writes the Danish Ministry of Defence on X.
