On Sunday night, Swedish time, the squad arrived on a specially chartered flight to Dallas, Texas, where the national team will be based in the coming weeks.

The focus on Sunday will be recovery and lighter training after the long flight.

"Very fun. It's nice to finally be there. We've been looking forward to this for a long time," Victor Nilsson Lindelöf tells Radiosporten.

"The trip was good. It went faster than I had expected. We passed the time with some card games and Nintendo," he continues.

The time change is being felt, says national team captain Graham Potter.

"I'm a little tired right now to be honest, but hopefully we'll have a good dinner, stay awake as long as possible and then try to get into the groove," he tells SR.

Sweden's first match in the World Cup is against Tunisia on June 15. After that, the Netherlands and Japan await.
