The Swedes did not manage to qualify for the finals in the team golf tournament in South Korea.

The last group match, against a world team, was a draw in the LPGA tour event International Crown. It was not enough to reach a top-two position in the group and a semifinal spot.

The chance of a semifinal was lost already in the first best ball match which Madelene Sagström and Ingrid Lindblad lost. Brooke Henderson, Canada and Hsu Wei-Ling, Taiwan won with 4/3.

Maja Stark and Linn Grant beat Charley Hull, England and Lydia Ko, New Zealand with 3/1.

Sweden finished last in the group with 2.5 points after two match wins, one draw and three losses.

In Sunday's semifinals, USA and Japan meet as well as the world team and Australia.
