Sweden fell heavily in the bronze match in the Golden League. An even match had to be decided in the fifth and final set. There, Romania was too big a number. It's tough, hard to digest, says team captain Anna Haak to SVT after the loss.

Sweden started the bronze match brilliantly and could easily win the first set with 25–17.

The Romanians recovered, however, and equalized to 1–1 in sets.

In a thrilling event, Sweden took back command and won the third set with 25–21.

After that, it was a fun end for the Swedes. In two incredibly even last sets, it was Romania that was strongest and could snatch a bronze medal.

Sweden's team captain Anna Haak was disappointed after the match.

No, but it's tough, hard to digest. But I'm so proud of this team. I think we can go out of this match and be so proud of ourselves, she says to SVT.

Haak took the opportunity to praise the audience after the match.

The atmosphere was great in the hall. I have to say that I've never seen such an audience in Swedish volleyball. Even if we don't win this match, it's an incredibly big milestone.

In the final, Ukraine will face Hungary.
