The delegation will also propose how support for children and young people with neuropsychiatric diagnoses (NPF diagnoses) and their families can be developed in schools, healthcare, leisure activities and entry into the labour market.
The common thread is that children and young people with NPF need to be given better conditions to reach their potential and develop, says Minister of Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed (KD) at a press conference.
The background is the sharp increase in children and young people receiving an NPF diagnosis, something that is particularly noticeable in child and adolescent psychiatry, Forssmed (KD) points out.
Mathias Wahlsten, Director General of the Unemployment Insurance Inspectorate, will lead the delegation, and its work will be reported on December 1, 2027.
