Vanessa Kamga's coach Mats Olsson gave the news to Sportbladet. The European Championship bronze medallist from Birmingham has suffered an ear infection and a ruptured eardrum.
She will therefore miss the Finnkampen, and she is not the only blue-and-yellow athlete to withdraw. It has already been confirmed that pole vault star Armand Duplantis, race walker Perseus Karlström and sprinter Henrik Larsson will also miss the classic international competition.
This year, the Finnkampen will be decided in Helsinki on August 29 and 30.
