The devastation is great after the two earthquakes that hit Venezuela on June 24. Around 2,000 people have died and thousands of people are reported missing.

The government is now announcing that it is contributing SEK 25 million in humanitarian aid via the UN and Save the Children.

"People who are already living in great vulnerability have been hit hard by the devastation of the earthquakes. Thousands of people are homeless and lack access to food and clean water," says Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa (M) in a press release.
