European hammer thrower Patricia Kamga, who is Sweden's third all-time hammer thrower, will miss the Finnkampen.

Patricia has back pain. She did one last session yesterday and it didn't feel good, says national team captain Kajsa Bergqvist according to Expressen.

Patricia Kamga is replaced by Sara Forssell in the squad.

It has already been announced that her older sister Vanessa Kamga will also miss the competition due to illness. Jennifer Rudberg will replace the European Championship medalist in the discus competition.

Pole vault star Armand Duplantis, race walker Perseus Karlström and sprinter Henrik Larsson will also miss the Finnkampen.

This year, the classic international match will be decided in Helsinki on August 29 and 30.
