Sweden lost the first of two international matches away against Lithuania before the European Championship finals. A poor finish where the Swedes did not manage to score a single point in the last five minutes was behind the loss with 62–64 (29–29).

Klara Lundquist made 62–59 for Sweden with 5.16 left to play. They were the last Swedish points and Lithuania, which also qualified for the European Championship, could catch up and pass.

Frida Eldebrink became the top scorer in Sweden with 18 points and Klara Lundquist accounted for 13.

Sweden fell last week against the reigning European Champion Belgium with 50–81.

The teams meet again on the National Day in Trakai outside Vilnius. It is Sweden's last match before the European Championship where Germany is waiting in Hamburg in the premiere on June 19. The other two teams in Sweden's group are Great Britain and Spain.
