Sweden eliminated from Davis Cup qualifiers after loss to Czech Republic

Sweden has been eliminated from the Davis Cup qualifiers. They also lost the third match, away to the Czech Republic in Jihlava, which means the Czechs will advance to the second qualifying round.

Sweden was down 0–2 in matches heading into Sunday's doubles match between Sweden's André Göransson and Erik Grevelius and the Czech Republic's Petr Nouza and Patrik Rikl. The match was even and lasted almost three hours, with all sets decided in tiebreaks.

The Czech Republic next faces the USA in the second qualifying round.
