Sweden's Davis Cup team will face Tunisia at home the second weekend in September. This is clear after Thursday's draw.
The winner of the meeting will advance to the qualifying round in early 2026, with a chance to reach the final later that year. Tunisia's best singles player is Aziz Dougaz, ranked 210th in the world.
"Tunisia at home feels like a pretty good draw. I don't know much about the players, more than that I've checked their current ranking. I will of course study more what results they have achieved and on which surfaces they have achieved their best results", says Davis Cup captain Simon Aspelin in a press release.
Sweden's most recent DC match was played against Australia at the Royal Tennis Hall in the January-February turn, when it became a clear blue-yellow defeat.
