The final group stage match in Lidköping was even in the first half and the Swedes went to halftime with a 2–1 lead.

Then it was about annihilation.

Sweden scored eleven goals in the second half and started it by scoring four goals in ten minutes.

The first one is not a top performance, we're not satisfied with it. In the second, we go out and play and then we get a lot of goals, says two-goal scorer Sanna Gustafsson in Expressen's TV broadcast.

Moa Friman scored 3–1 just 29 seconds in and when she scored 6–1 after 55 minutes, it was her third goal in the match.

And Sweden's fourth on ten minutes into the second half.

Moa Friman's sister Ida also got to write herself into the goal protocol with two full hits.

Sweden secured with its third straight win the top spot in the group, which means the team is directly qualified for Sunday's World Championship final.

USA and Norway meet in the semifinal on Saturday, while Finland gets to play the bronze match.
