Approximately 1,500 complaints and tips have been received about the SD's text messages, IMY writes in a press release.
IMY will review whether there was a legal basis for the personal data processing that took place during the mailing, and investigate how the selection of recipients was carried out.
The text message, which according to the SD went out to “a broad group” the day before the election, stated that the Social Democrats and the SD “agree that all Muslim independent schools should be closed.” S called the sending a violation of the law, and emphasized that no agreement had been made with the SD on the matter.
A review will also be carried out of the Örebro Party's text message mailings.
