"These are completely baseless lies," says Annika Hirvonen, the Green Party's group leader in the Riksdag, to DN.

It was during Sunday's debate on SVT's Agenda that Åkesson claimed that MP had entered into some form of agreement with the two parliamentarians and former SD members Elsa Widding and Katja Nyberg.

Widding and Nyberg also deny reports of an agreement with MP.

"That is completely incorrect," Nyberg told SVT.

Widding says Hirvonen called her before Thursday's vote, which concerned transitional rules for stricter citizenship requirements.

"It was about drawing my attention to this vote," she tells SVT.
