Sweden crushes Finland again, reaches seventh straight women's bandy final

The Swedish women's bandy team is chasing a seventh World Cup gold. In the semi-final against host nation Finland, they were crushed again, 9–0.

Sweden won 8–0 in the opening match of the Bandy World Cup. Finland were the opponents.

The neighboring country to the east was also the opponent in today's semi-final. With a similar result, Sweden won 9–0 and are through to Sunday's final.

Tilda Ström and Tova Grönoset each scored three goals.

On the way to the final, Sweden has now scored 35 goals and only conceded two.

The final opponent will be decided later on Saturday. Norway will face the USA in the other semi-final.

The Women's Bandy World Championship has been held since 2004. Sweden has won twelve of thirteen World Championship gold medals and is the reigning champion.
