A good finish by veteran Tinna Vilhelmson Silfvén on Hyatt means that the Swedish team is fifth, 0.854 percent behind third-placed Denmark, after the first day in French Crozet.

Experienced Vilhelmson Silfvén went out as the last rider during Wednesday's first part and was noted for 70.373 percent, which gave her a fifth place individually. Her placement is also the Swedish one after the first day.

Sofie Lexner on Inoraline W placed sixth on 70 percent.

Patrik Kittel, on Touchdown, and Maria von Essen, on Invoice, will ride on Thursday and the three best results per team are counted together in the team competition.

The Netherlands is fourth on 70.932 percent.

Germany (75.699) leads ahead of Great Britain (74.829).

Sweden finished fourth in the last European Championship.
