The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) is purchasing 94 Patria 6x6 armored terrain vehicles, the authority writes in a press release.

The order value is estimated at SEK 1.5 billion.

"The deal complements last year's order for 321 vehicles for SEK 5.3 billion, which means that a total of 415 vehicles will now be delivered to Sweden between 2025-2030 - one of the most extensive investments in land vehicles in modern times," writes FMV.

According to FMV, a significant part of the content in vehicle systems comes from Swedish factories.

The order is being placed within the framework of the CAVS cooperation – a ground defense program – where Sweden collaborates with Finland, Latvia, Denmark, Germany, Norway and the United Kingdom.
