Demand for the training programs, which begin this week, has been very high. A total of 30-40 training programs are expected to be held across the country. More than 20, i.e. more than half of them, are already booked.
"It feels important that we can meet the national demand. There will be training opportunities throughout the spring and also during the autumn for the country's county administrative boards, regions, municipalities, and educational institutions," says Petter Säterhed, function manager for security in public environments at MSB, in a press release.
MSB's role includes reducing society's vulnerability to antagonistic threats, strengthening protection for the individual, and increasing resilience among both the general public and organizations operating in public environments. The training programs are, according to MSB, a step in increasing the pace of the work.
