The leaders of the four countries said that the building permits for some settlements are “unacceptable.”
"Sweden agrees with this statement," writes Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard on X on Friday.
The settlement project, called E1 in Israel, “undermines attempts to reach a two-state solution by driving a wedge through the West Bank and damages the territorial integrity of Palestinian territories,” the statement also says, which Malmer Stenergard supports:
“The Israeli government should immediately withdraw the E1 plans and end all settlement activities.”
