Andreas "Dirty Harry" Harrysson was chasing a quarter-final spot at the World Darts Championship in London and impressed. But Jonny Clayton of Wales turned things around and won 4-2 in sets.

For a long time, continuing in the tournament looked to be within reach for Harrysson, who excelled early and took a 2–1 lead in the set.

He then had a chance to become the first Swede ever to reach the World Cup quarterfinals.

But Welshman Jonny Clayton, ranked number five in the world, fought back, showed his class towards the end and turned the set around to win 4–2.

The Swede's World Cup adventure is thus over for now.

50-year-old Harrysson, from Målilla, ranked 114th in the world, won three straight matches during the World Cup and earned £60,000, roughly 740,000 kronor.
