Liverpool opened the scoring through Mia Enderby, who was injured in the incident that led to the goal and had to be carried out on a stretcher.
Beata Olsson came in for Enderby and only needed a few minutes on the pitch before making it 2–0. That goal proved decisive after Swedish national team goalkeeper Jennifer Falk conceded an own goal in the second half to make it 2–1.
But Everton didn't get any closer than that and Liverpool are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Swedish player Cornelia Kapocs also started for Liverpool.
Earlier on Sunday, Arsenal and Chelsea won their matches in the FA Cup.
