The league operated call centers in several countries and targeted elderly people in Sweden, who were urged to Swish hundreds of thousands of kronor to a fake collection agency.
The fraudsters then booked private jets and luxury trips, Aftonbladet writes, citing the preliminary investigation.
In July 2025, 14 people were convicted of involvement in the fraud.
A woman in her 20s, who was sentenced to three years in prison at Gothenburg District Court, never showed up to serve her sentence and has since been internationally wanted.
On Wednesday, she was arrested in Phuket, Thailand.
"My client has wanted to come back to Sweden for a long time to serve her sentence and has, according to the information I have, agreed to surrender," the woman's lawyer writes to Aftonbladet.
