"The security situation in the Middle East has a direct impact on aviation in the form of changed flight routes and increased fuel prices. Swedavia continues to monitor developments in close dialogue with relevant stakeholders," Swedavia said in a press release.
During the first quarter, the company's net sales increased to SEK 1.7 billion, from SEK 1.5 billion in the corresponding quarter of 2025.
The operating profit showed a loss of SEK 101 million, compared with a loss of SEK 136 million.
The number of passengers traveling through Swedavia's airports during the first quarter increased by seven percent compared with the first quarter of 2025.
