Julia Heveus returns in the role of Nora, the girl who fell headlong into a destructive relationship in "Gaslight". In "The Silence", which is a standalone sequel, Nora is in a different phase of her life, but marked by her previous experiences.
The plot raises questions about mental health and male silence culture. It all begins when four friends try to understand what has happened when their friend Linus suddenly disappears.
Aside from Julia Heveus, the leading roles are played by Otta Fahlgren, Ulf Stenberg, and Molly Nutley. The director and screenwriter Therese Lundberg, who also created "Gaslight", is behind "The Silence".
