Doctor Olivia (Rebecca Plymholt) returns to her family’s traditional Christmas celebration at the family farm after spending months working as an aid worker in Liberia. When it emerges that she may have been exposed to a feared virus, the entire family is placed in a seven-day quarantine.
The setting is ripe for conflict, and the family’s secrets soon begin to surface.
Alex Haridi wrote the script, based on Francesca Hornak’s book "Seven Days of Us".
"This series will land perfectly at Christmas time because it deals with our relationship to holidays, the immediate family and belonging in a warm and entertaining way," says Johanna Gårdare, SVT’s director of drama, in a press release.
