The Review Board for Radio and TV finds SVT guilty of showing boxes with the deceased Pope Francis' favorite chocolate for too long on screen.

The chocolate boxes were on a table during the broadcast as part of the Catholic Church's tribute to Franciskus, who passed away in April this year.

The Review Board admits that it is probably not a matter of product placement, but notes in its decision that the chocolate boxes were in the picture for four minutes, which means that the broadcast contravenes the provision on unfair promotion, writes the magazine Journalisten.

"In light of the fact that the broadcast of the press conference was not live, it should, in the opinion of the Board, have been possible for SVT to edit the segment before it was broadcast to avoid such exposure of the chocolate boxes," the Board writes in its decision and condemns the segment.
