The three-part documentary series, "Per and Marie - The Story of Roxette", is based on private films and images, much of which has rarely or never been shown before, SVT (Swedish public broadcaster) writes in a press release. It will also include "moments behind the international success".
Marie Fredriksson, who died in 2019, appears in previously recorded interviews, while new interviews have been conducted with Per Gessle.
The series premieres on November 19 on SVT Play.
At the same time, a new concert film, "Roxette - Live in Sydney", made from footage of the duo's concerts in Australia in 1991 during the "Join the Joyride World Tour", will be shown.
SVT's concert film features 14-15 songs and is also being made in a longer version for cinemas.
