"It is clear that in an economic situation like this we would really need to think carefully and be smarter than we usually are. But we have arranged ESC many times now and have learned to do it at an incredibly low cost compared to other countries that have arranged it," Eva Beckman, SVT's program director, told Dagens Nyheter.
Earlier this year, SVT presented a savings package totaling SEK 355 million. Around 140 jobs will be lost and the changes will take effect at the turn of the year.
