"I have now watched the recording of the episode in which Alinia participates. The content is flawless with regard to what can be said within the framework of our journalistic guidelines. Despite that, we will not broadcast the episode," writes the responsible publisher Helena Olsson in a comment on DN Kulturdebatt.

Alinia's participation in the comedy program has led, among others, podcaster Julia Frändfors and host Amie Bramme Sey to cancel their participation in "IFS." Journalist Bilan Osman has also now demanded that the episode in which she appears be removed.

Helena Olsson has previously said that SVT "broke its routines" and now writes that Alinia "cannot be compared to any opinion leader or activist."

"Alinia has harassed journalists and dissidents. He expresses a racist ideology. He has connections with the violence-prone right-wing extremist environment."

She emphasizes that public service should protect diversity of opinion and provide space for broad societal debate, but that the mission does not mean "neutrality towards anti-democratic ideas or actors who systematically undermine fundamental democratic values."

"IFS" premiered in 2022 and involves three people answering questions about what is true or false about immigrant culture.
