The live broadcasts on SVT Play are working again. The previous problems were due to a test that SVT conducted to check the power supply, according to Hanna Downing, communications manager at SVT.
Similar tests are performed regularly, she writes in an email to TT.
"This shows the importance of constantly stress-testing our systems to detect weaknesses. We apologize to those affected by this."
According to Downing, the broadcasts are working again, even though some "minor technical problems remain". Among other things, subtitles may be out of sync.
