The closure has nothing to do with the announced savings package, SVT's program director Michael Kucera tells Aftonbladet.
Instead, SVT will focus on a completely new, responsible program with Anders Holmberg as host.
"We're not saving any money on it, but we're going to turn it into something new. It's about program development," he tells Aftonbladet.
