The information was confirmed by SVT's program director for knowledge and lifestyle, Charles Franz.
"It's true that 'First Date' has not been ordered for this year," he told Aftonbladet.
He added that SVT is "in discussion about" the future of the program.
The program was first broadcast in 2017.
