The Gaming Inspectorate warns Svenska Spel after the company offered games that lacked the necessary license on so-called "Vegas slot machines".
Svenska Spel had, according to the Gaming Inspectorate's decision, a license to operate games on the slot machines in two bingo halls. But when the halls moved last year, the slot machines followed, without licenses being issued for the new addresses.
In a statement, Svenska Spel writes that the company's understanding was that the move only required a notification of address change regarding value machines – which, as it turns out, was not the case.
In addition to the warning, the Gaming Inspectorate has decided that Svenska Spel shall pay a penalty fee of two million kronor.
