Sven Lindahl, Swedish News Anchor and Composer, Dies at 88

The journalist and TV personality Sven Lindahl has passed away after a shorter period of illness, the family announces to TT.

Lindahl was most known for his time as news anchor on Sveriges Television in the 1960s. He also hosted Melodifestivalen in 1963 and 1966.

Sven Lindahl was also a composer and lyricist and the creator of the songs ”Mälarö kyrka” and ”Hambostinta i kort-kort”.

Sven Lindahl became 88 years old.
