In May, the couple was sentenced to life imprisonment by Attunda District Court, a verdict that was appealed to the Svea Court of Appeal.
The Court of Appeal follows the district court's line and convicts both the man and the woman of murdering the man's mother, as well as of grave trespass.
The victim is believed to have been murdered in June last year at the couple's home. Four days later, she was reported missing by her son. She was later found dead in a lake, dismembered and wrapped in several storage bags.
Both defendants have denied the crime and blamed each other for the murder.
The wife is also sentenced to life imprisonment as she is a citizen of another country.
