It is a sunny spring day when Svantesson takes her last budget walk for this term.
If the Tidö parties lose the election, it could be the last time ever that she will be allowed to push her way between the Ministry of Finance and the Riksdag.
Svantesson believes in her chances.
I would like to do this for another four or eight years, she says.
But even if the Tidö parties were to win the election, Svantesson could face competition for the post of Minister of Finance from SD's economic policy spokesperson Oscar Sjöstedt.
However, it is nothing that Svantesson is afraid of.
“Competition is good,” she says.
