In Longyearbyen on Svalbard, the temperature measured four degrees Celsius on Monday morning — making the city warmer than both Seville, Spain, and Ankara, Turkey, writes NRK.

The temperature on the archipelago north of the Arctic Circle was among the highest in Norway on Monday, according to the country's meteorological institute.

At four degrees Celsius, Longyearbyen is also warmer than Seville in southern Spain, which measured three degrees Celsius. It is also warmer than Ankara in Turkey, which had one degree Celsius during the morning.
