The 24-year-old Swedish cross-country star has been afflicted with a headache after Friday's training, the day before Saturday's sprint.
"Linn Svahn has developed cold symptoms after today's training and has, together with the coach and medical team, decided that she will opt out of the upcoming competitions in Lillehammer", the national team writes in a statement, according to media on site.
Earlier on Friday, the cross-country skiing national team announced that Maja Dahlqvist had fallen ill and will not start at the weekend either.
Besides Friday's 10 kilometers and Saturday's sprint, there is also the skiathlon, 20 kilometers, on Sunday.
