The alarm came at 9 p.m. on Friday. The station was evacuated and cordoned off. Train traffic past Triangeln was also stopped.
It was a security guard who raised the alarm after discovering the object down by the tracks, said police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
A moment later, it was determined that the object was harmless.
The blockades were lifted and the trains could start running again.
