According to the police, it is "out of the question to hold an interrogation on Sunday" since the man is still receiving hospital care for serious injuries.
On Saturday, he had not even been suspected of a crime.
It was on Friday morning that a woman was murdered in Skultuna and another woman was subjected to an attempted murder in Rönnby in Västerås.
The women have had, or have had, a relationship with the suspected man. All parties are in their 40s.
The man is also suspected of gross violation of a child's integrity, since three children were present at the attempted murder in Rönnby.
