The police confirm to SVT Gävleborg that a serious violent crime has occurred. But they do not say more than that at present.

According to Gefle Dagblad, a large area with several residential buildings has been cordoned off in the district, where police helicopters are hovering over the site. In addition to the police, the rescue service and ambulance are also on site.
