A residence was shot at in the Vilbergen district of Norrköping on Monday evening. A large police operation was underway during the night, but no person has been arrested.

At 22.30 we received several calls about shooting and we later discovered damage to a residence that confirmed it, says Erik Creutz, duty officer at the police.

No person has been injured in connection with the shots. The police are investigating the case as attempted murder and serious weapons offense.

No one is arrested. During the night, the police have conducted door-to-door visits and held interviews. The blockades are now removed and the operation is completed.

It was a large number of police patrols involved in this, both regular radio cars and dog patrols. We searched the property and the area. There were many police on site, says Martina Gradian, press spokesperson for the police.

The building that was shot at is an apartment building with many residents and the police are investigating potential threats against those living at the address.

What happens now is that the information we have collected during the night will be systematized, analyzed and based on that, an investigation leader will make a decision on what measures we will take next, says Martina Gradian.
