The Louvre estimates it lost around 100 million kronor in a fraud case. Nine people have now been arrested.

According to the prosecutor, the famous museum has lost around 10 million euros, equivalent to around 106 million kronor, over a decade due to fraudulent activities.

The fraud is suspected to have been committed, among other things, by guides using the same tickets for several different groups of visitors and by bribing staff to avoid ticket checks. Prosecutors suspect that the same fraud was used at the Palace of Versailles.
