Suspected oil leak off Iranian island Kharg spreads over 52 square kilometers

It is unclear what caused the suspected leak on the island's west coast.

The company Orbital EOS, which monitors oil spills, told The New York Times that the leak on Thursday appeared to cover more than 52 square kilometers.
