The police were alerted to a residential area in Kärrtorp in southern Stockholm to investigate a suspected object early on Tuesday, reports SVT News Stockholm.
The area was cordoned off due to an "unknown object" being found.
Just before 7 am, the police had determined that the object was harmless and discontinued the operation.
